Welcome to the landing page of my creative brain! I'm so happy you're here.
I first got into photography 13 years ago when I was just 16 years old with a cheap film camera I begged my parents to spot me $50 for. Reluctantly, she did and I haven't had the desire to put it down since. Thankfully I have a much nicer camera now, but my love for the craft and the experience I have while working with new clients, in new places, and learning new things about the world is still the most fulfilling work I've ever done. I have many other crafts and skills from sewing and styling, vintage selling, to event promotion, etc. but nothing quite feeds my soul the way photography always has.
Since the beginning my favorite photos are the candid magic caught in the beauty of other human beings when they aren't even trying. I pride myself on making sure all of my clients and subjects are comfortable with me, and the posing/camera feels more like an afterthought for them. I have worked with many musicians, other artists, brands, and small businesses to help develop the visual end of their image and promote their dreams with them. I also have a passion for live events, performances, weddings, and celebrations.
A couple other fun facts about me: I have a dogter named Cali who goes almost everywhere with me and is probably more known to the Wilmington community than I am myself. She's iconic so she deserves it. I love vintage clothing and am deeply inspired by the colors and prints of the late 70s - early 80s. I am terrible at watching tv and have music playing almost constantly all day every day- even while also listening to podcasts! I know it sounds psychotic but I promise it works.
